The Power of Silence

The Power of Silence, Blog saying the best experiences that Mahatma Gandhi shared with the world, Truth and Non Violence and satyagraha done by Bapu!

Ask yourself - What do I get if I remain silent during a situation?

Lets start this article with that question, hope you'll find your answer at the end.

When I was young I was a very talkative person but during my class 9&10 I was just thinking about the world and the people and this technology I was wondered where I'll be landing in my future. At that point of time I just started talking to myself and i left bothering about the world. I felt my emotions with myself and started enjoying with my attitude. And of course I'm able to feel that my time has started running slowly. Then I found much more time to work with and also I became Productive. Then I took this to another level after reading Mahatma Gandhi's Non-violence and Truth.

By the time I was in the mid of my preparation to a competitive exam, I am very well understood of this perspective. Lets see how my perspective was:

  • I talk to someone if I am free or if my words matter and I do not get disturbed by some other person during my attention.
  • I answer to a faculty if they really want me to. Like- if they point out my name, because if that situation want only me and no one else then it would be mine.
  • I am like saving my calories too. As I don't have any unnecessary business. I save my food I have a good hope that  other person around the globe may get out of his hungry.
  • Initially whole my society, relatives, friends and my teachers would look at me differently. Yeah even I wanted some difference right? Let me hope in a positive way at least.
  • Now they give me my respect-What everyone around the world are trying to get at least after their death.
@This was my experience. That I wanted to share before getting to the actual solution to the above Question.

Why did Mahatma Gandhi opted for Truth & Non-violence?

He wanted to see the people Brave without armed, change without death, love without hate, Justice without inequity.

Why are we talking? Is it for communication? but what we actually do?
Your Words matter at that situation?

Don't listen to someone those who say you should be like this and that. Because those kind of behaviour or attitude are already used. Be Yourself, set a trend. Respect and money both follow you.

Do you know that why we pay silence to someone dead?
When we are silent we can recall the effort they kept for our wellbeing much better.

Say truth if you want to say something. Be in calm and peace when you start something which you actually don't know.

There are so many wars that ended for silence! Even India got freedom from British rule mainly due to leadership of Mahatma Gandhi who is best known for Non-violence and Truth. Why can't you give it a try? At least for a day.
