So let us find out:A procrastinator is one who chose the easy task rather than completing the task which is urgent/important.
He voluntarily neglects the important task as it is not much interesting or it is a memory-based topic like our Anatomy, which is so hard to remember those confusing Statements.

A Procrastinator may also have some kind of fear of failure, like they think of after-war, which is absolutely wrong, but they think that if I do something, I should succeed, which will not happen in anyone’s life.
Some people are quite opposite, they think that if I succeed in anything, I get more workload, so they procrastinate.
For example: when you present any class and you succeed in it, then your faculty may ask you again for a presentation right!
You are Procrastinating :
- When you do not follow your schedule/To-Do list.
- When You scroll the social media on receiving a Notification.
- When your relatives come to your house during your busy day. Where your presence isn’t really required.
- When you go for a movie with your friends during your hectic day.
- If you wait for a good time to start your study.
- If you schedule your day with less important tasks.
- If we postpone a task repeatedly.


Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD):
It is a disorder in which it is hard to concentrate on a single task, especially when it is boring. They shift to another task without finishing any of them.
Procrastination is a complex process. It happens when our self-control system is lost. It may happen if we motivate our brain less often and if we don’t get the expected results or if we don’t give the brain something which it expects(rewards).
Perfectionism :
if a person thinks that he should complete a task very perfectly.
Example: If they want to write notes and want to include all the important information, they’ll try to read the textbook many times to extract all the information. Which leads to getting bored and soon they procrastinate.
This is highly linked with social media in the present situation, people scroll through Instagram and YouTube more often, even when they don’t get any notifications, it may be due to addiction.

There is an option of screen time in settings, in that chose app limits and make restrictions for the apps that have high screen time during the past week. Make sure you don’t keep your screen time passcode with you!And use downtime, to keep you away from all notifications and apps, it should be kept during your major reading time, like mornings or late nights.

Gifting Yourself.
Your brain's reward center should satisfy to provide you the required amount of feel-good hormones, which then increase your energy and thereby your attention.
You can gift your brain a food item, a good amount of sleep time, listening to your favorite melodies, browsing the internet, reading comics, or whichever activity makes you happier.

Short-term goals.
Making the short-term goals help you to know your progress and your brain's reward center also satisfies to much extent than making long-term goals or no goals, as you achieve your goal it increases your confidence, by releasing GABA(an inhibitory neurotransmitter) in your brain, which is the main drug used in treating of ADHD.

Some short techniques:
- Prioritize your tasks based on importance and urgency.
- Figure out your best and worst times to concentrate.
- Use Pomodoro- technique, to retain more information, 60-80 minutes may work for medicos.
- Take nap during the day(mostly evening) to convert your short-term memory to long-term, 30-40 minutes nap is what suggestable by sleep scientists.
- Motivate yourself by thinking about the future success that you get after achieving your goals.
- Read motivational stories or quotes, when you feel low.
These are some techniques which are already been tested on many people, so they should work for you. If not, there may be a health issue associated with you.
